The trip in short
Riding among the saguaros in winter, when the desert is mild. Four nights in Wickenburg, the dude ranch capital of the world, and four at a ranch on the edge of Saguaro National Park near Tucson: rides at sunrise, cowboy cookouts and quiet evenings. Then north to Sedona, on horseback among the red rocks, and back to Las Vegas over Route 66 at Kingman. The winter one among the horse riding trips; in summer: cowboys and ranches in Wyoming.
